Africa's most popular and well- remembered gardening
series which focused on South African gardening with
particular emphasis on indigenous planting and
environmentally friendly techniques.
All types of gardens were featured, from tiny townhouse
gardens to huge private and public gardens, botanical
gardens and even the magnificent national gardens of
England. The Chelsea Flower Show featured twice. The
series was also packed with useful gardening tips,
gardening for wildlife, lawns care, how-to projects,
unusual and rare plants, and much more.
Presented by Tumi Makgabo and Yashika Singh, with
specialist presenters Doug McMurtry, Anne Lorentz,
Margaret Roberts and Roy Trendler.
